Who we are
This notice applies to wood-center.com, an editorial website about wooden furniture and home ideas. The site contact is [email protected].
Information we receive
Contact enquiries. The contact form asks for an email address, a topic and a message. Your name is optional. The message and submission time are stored in a private WordPress administrator inbox. Please do not include passwords, financial details or other sensitive information.
Newsletter sign-ups. We store your email address, sign-up time and the source of the sign-up in the site’s private subscriber database. An email delivery service has not yet been connected.
Technical information. Hosting and security systems may process IP addresses, requested URLs, browser information, access times and error records to serve and protect the site.
Comments, where available. If you submit a comment on a page with comments enabled, WordPress can store the name, email address, comment, IP address and browser information you provide or transmit. Your published comment and display name may be visible to other visitors; your email address is not displayed with the comment.
How we use information
We use contact details to handle enquiries, corrections, image-credit questions and privacy requests. Newsletter details are used to maintain the subscriber list and, when delivery is enabled, to send the updates you requested. Technical records and short-lived anti-spam identifiers help prevent abuse and diagnose faults.
Cookies and technical safeguards
WordPress uses cookies for administrator sign-in. If comment features offer an option to remember your details, choosing it may store those details in your browser. The contact and newsletter forms use security tokens and temporary rate limits; the rate-limit identifiers are derived from IP addresses and expire after one hour.
This site currently has no advertising or analytics plugin enabled. Hosting or security services may still process technical requests. You can manage or remove cookies through your browser settings, although some sign-in or comment features may then work differently.
External websites and service providers
Site information is processed through the hosting and security services needed to operate WordPress. Access to the contact inbox and subscriber administration is restricted to site administrators.
Our pages link to Pinterest, furniture makers and other reference sites. Images used in the page layouts are hosted in our own media library; clicking an external link takes you to a separately operated website whose privacy practices apply there. Sending us an email also involves the email services used by you and Wood Center.
Storage and retention
Contact messages remain in the private inbox while needed to handle the enquiry and related follow-up. Subscriber addresses remain on the list until removal is requested or the list is cleared. Copies may remain temporarily in site backups, and hosting or security logs follow the provider’s retention settings. We have not set a single automatic deletion period for all records.
We use restricted administrator access and standard WordPress safeguards. No online service can promise absolute security.
Your choices
You may ask what information you have provided, request a correction, ask for deletion, or request removal from the newsletter list. Email [email protected] or select “Privacy request” in the contact form. Include the email address involved and enough context to locate the record. We may need to verify a request before changing or releasing information.
You can browse the guides without subscribing or submitting a message. The site is not intended to collect personal information from children; contact us if you believe a child has submitted information that should be removed.
Changes and contact
